The mUVe 3D DLP ULTIPro 4K Printer and Printer Upgrade Kit are truly revolutionary. By utilizing the Optoma UHD60 Ultra HD Projector and modifying it for the purpose of 3D printing we’re able to bring you a 4X resolution increase. Enjoy large format and high-resolution printing in one machine, or ultra-high resolution without having to build area. By calibrating 25 micron pixel size you still have a build area of 96mm x  54mm. At 1080P system you’d have a paltry 48mm x 27mm. 

We’re modifying the projector and light filtering system to offer excellent UV performance/uniformity and fantastic focus across the projection area. Combined, these improvements provide a simpler projector setup, speedier calibration and improved print times. The new easy tilt projector mount eases the process of squaring the projection, and the new in-built shelves with tool holders allow you to keep all your printing supplies in one place. Being based on the Maker/ULTIPro it is still the most adjustable, upgradeable, and adaptable UV 3D printer available today. These are the only DLP printers in our lineup that can use the Large FlexVat/Build Plate for huge build areas. Whether you’re a dentist, jeweler, organic or solid modeler, our 4k systems will surely impress while enabling you to tackle the projects of the future. 

The Upgrade Kit includes a modified UHD60 projector and printer stand, it requires that you already own an assembled Maker or ULTIPro 3D printer. RPi 3 and extra reservoirs sold separately.

  • DLP ULTIPro 4K Pre-Assembled Printer and 4K Maker/ULTIPro Upgrade Kit
The DLP ULTIPro 4k is our top of the line 95% assembled 3D printer. You’ll just be attaching the legs, shelving, projector mount and projector. Everything else has already been done for you in addition to getting a preloaded Raspberry Pi 3 with nanoDLP setup with 4K output. You will be calibrated and printing within just a few hours, but still have all the features of the Maker X and more! This is our only pre-assembled 3D printer that can hold the Large FlexVat and Build Plate, thankfully with the assembled system you get both!

  • Chassis

    It’s our most up to date, always upgraded, always reliable chassis. Only pre-assembled by our experts. Our tried and true dual motor peel system is part of every 3D printer we sell. Now we’re including the latest Uber Z axis for ultimate strength and longevity. The adjustable internal chassis system allows for mounting of the large or standard FlexVat systems.

  • Electronics

    We have open source firmware to match our hardware. The electronics we use are still RAMPS 1.3-4 compatible and are the most popular design used today, even the newer single board controllers are RAMPS compatible. Add-ons and advanced control of external electronic devices are all but a few wires away. We even include a shutter assembly! With this printer you’ll be getting a Raspberry Pi 3, software setup is as simple as plugging into into your local PC network and discovering it using UPnP.

Since our printers use standard electronics we have minimal restrictions on software usage. You can use nanoDLP on a Raspberry Pi 3 as a free way to run your printer, or even Creation Workshop if you want it connected directly to your PC. With so many options, you’ll have a ton of capability just a fingertip away.

Printing Materials

Our DLP printers support a massive array of 3D printing resins. If you find a resin that says it’s DLP printing compatible, chances are it’ll print on our printers. We supply 500mL of premium MakerJuice resin with each printer. This resin is stiff but flexible enough to allow for snap-fit plastic parts and is really a good choice for any 3D printed parts you might have. If you for some reason find it’s not a good fit you should head over to makerjuice.com and check out their selection. Or you can check out some of the other resins in our store. Materials come in a huge range of offerings from rigid to flexible, castable and biocompatible, opaque to translucent, even clear. You’re sure to find exactly what you need.

All of our printers are documented and held on open, comment ready, public channels. We do our best to keep our documentation full of rich media with images and step-by-step instructions. If something’s missing just leave a comment and we’ll get it added right away!
